| After fighting for 2 months, I know that I really need a break. Not necessarily a long vacation, a short break is more than enough. So sucking busy.
I wanna give up sometimes but...I am not that easy to be beaten! Keep going~

| No entry for a long time, more than 2 months. Why? For the whole August, I worked as a summer intern in a multinational company, British American Tobacco (BAT). I got this job ad through Internship Learning Scheme (ILS). At the time I received the email, I hesitated and decided hard whether apply for this intern or not. I finally sent an email to ILS and everything began since then.
I started my job since Aug 3, 2009. Before getting to know about the office, I was in Lui's room talking to him for about an hour. Both of us didn't expect such a long greeting! ha =] The first help desk guy I met was Ben. He brought me to my seat and helped me setup my 'first' laptop, IBM ThinkPad T30. Then, Gary helped me setup Lotus notes. We, Angel, Theresa, Martin, Ben, Flora, who is a HR gal, and I, had lunch together to welcome me. For my first working day, I just read manuals and tried all new business software. Days were interesting. The most unforgettable thing was having celebrating lunch for Lui with IT guys and Lui's wife, Bridget. For the whole lunch, Lui was like interviewing me. He asked me many helpdesk questions. While all people had had their lunch, my food was like 'just come'. We had this lunch for about 2.5 hours! My first 'project' was to check all IT inventory for the whole company. So, that's my duty walking around the company. Haha. I met almost all colleagues except those were always on trip. My second thing to do was to install Utimaco on all laptops above 60 series. Planning and appointing made me think more and from different aspect. The 'third' thing which is also the most important was to build Lui's X200! People there are very nice. Working at BAT is great fun! I learned some technical stuffs from Ben and Gary, some management stuffs from Lui and some meaning of life from all of them.
Time flies, it's time to school. Before Wilfred went back to Taiwan, he asked me whether I wanted to extend my contract. I thought for some time because I need to do final year projects and I also have 2 tutorials. I finally accepted the offer and I am glad that I have accepted his offer. Although this makes me a busy life, it's challenging and I like taking challenges.
